You just never know when something strikes�when a stranger flashes a smile across the road, when bumping into an acquaintance on a lonely night in town, when a text message from an old friend from years ago appeared on your phone. It's almost like you found a place to be amongst the incessant crowds after crowds of unfamiliar faces. Even if you don't know what to expect from this unexpected virtual greeting; this 'long-lost' friend. Why now? Why not never? What was he thinking when he hit 'Send'? It's almost like for a moment you were back on that bench three years ago�a departure point�like for a moment you were who you were to all the people you knew, like you have ventured too far from home, and now, for that particular moment, you're back. Finally.
