#358: Arrested Development
June 23, 2014

I recently came across an old book in the school library that has aged beautifully. The paper is soft to the touch; the yellowed edges framed the paragraphs like a portrait; the scent from its spine like the shrubs in your backyard on a hot Sunday afternoon. My fingers chased the words across the pages. I wonder if they will leave their mark as stains in the years to come.
